Is 5 days enough for Singapore?

Yes — five days covers Singapore's big four comfortably: Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay, the cultural quarters, a full Sentosa day and Universal Studios, with a shopping morning to spare. With a direct 4.5-hour flight from Kolkata you lose almost nothing to transit.

The day-by-day plan

  1. Day 1: Land, Jewel Changi Rain Vortex, evening Gardens by the Bay + Supertree light show (7.45/8.45pm, free).
  2. Day 2: Merlion & Marina Bay walk, Chinatown (Buddha Tooth Relic Temple), Little India, night river cruise from Clarke Quay.
  3. Day 3: Sentosa — cable car in, S.E.A. Aquarium, Skyline Luge, beach, Wings of Time (7.40pm).
  4. Day 4: Universal Studios full day; Night Safari tram after dark if you still have legs.
  5. Day 5: Orchard Road/Bugis shopping, fly out.
